Marina Spasic defeats Donatella Panu, earns WKN title

The mixed gala Collision Fighting League was held on Saturday September 30 at Pionir Hall in Belgrade. The program of the event comprised a series of kickboxing and MMA bouts with Serbian and international competitors, coming from Italy, Poland, Greece, Montenegro, France, Croatia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia, Romania and Russia.


The highlight of the night was the women’s kickboxing clash, featuring Serbian Marina Spasic up against Italian Donatella Panu. The pair battled out for WKN International featherweight title. The three-round contest went the distance, with the representative of the country-host proclaimed as the winner by decision.

In the main event Serbian heavyweight Mixed Martial Artist Darko Stosic scored the first round stoppage against Poland’s Tomasz Czerwinski. In the co-main event Serbian heavyweight kickboxer Rade Opacic took the decision against Greek Dimitrios Vakakis.

Also on the card Serbian middleweight Dusan Dzakic stopped French Benchohra Sofiane in the first round. As well, Montenegro’s Vaso Bakocevic defeated Croatian Tonci Perusko by decision.

The event attended by 5.000 spectators was promoted by Nikola Pavkovic and Aleksandar Mitrovic. The full main card results can be found below.
