Simply the Best Kickboxing returned to Argentina with episode 15 held this past Sunday at Believe Buenos Aires in Moreno. The event promoted in terms of “Bosch Tour” comprised 23 bouts with the leading Argentine fighters up against international opponents, representing France, Brazil, Mexico and Uruguay. Five WKN titles were challenged on the night.
In the main event Argentine Federico Roma faced French Tristan Gaetano. The pair battled out for WKN World super bantamweight Muay Thai title. The bout went the distance and ended in favor of the representative of the country-host, who was proclaimed as a new champion in the division by judges decision.
Moreover, “The Little Big Man” Roma became a champion in two styles. In 2015 he scored the fourth-round stoppage victory over Poland’s Tomasz Makowski in Nowa Sol, earning World Kickboxing Network super bantamweight title in oriental rules.
The co-main event featured WKN Intercontinental lightweight title fight between Argentine Nikolas Vega, representing South America, and French Jeremy Nkoa, representing Europe. The championship belt was also taken by the local fighter who scored the fourth-round knockout victory.
Among other championships featured on the fight card, Argentine Pablo Roa defeated Brazilian Marcos Dal Jovev by decision, claiming WKN International lightweight belt. As well, Argentine Martin Velsaco stopped Mexican Daniel “Pacman” Rico in the second-round, earning WKN International welterweight title. In addition, Florencia Greco became WKN Argentine flyweight champion when she took the decision against Narela Alfonso.
Simply the Best 15 Moreno was the fourth series produced in Argentina, following three previous episodes held in Caseros. The promoters of the event were Cristian Bosch and Hector Valiente. The championship supervisor was Fernando Munoz. WKN President Stephane Cabrera, and former World Champions Osman Yigin and Jorge “Acero” Cali attended the show.
