World Championship returned to South American this past Sunday with STB 15 Moreno
Simply the Best Kickboxing produced Episode 15 at Believe Buenos Aires in Moreno, featuring a large 23-fight bill. The roster included the leading Argentine fighters up against the representatives of France, Brazil, Mexico and Uruguay. Five WKN titles were contested on the night.
In the main event Argentine Federico Roma earned WKN World super bantamweight Muay Thai title, scoring the decision against French Tristan Gaetano. “Little Big Man” also became the champion in two styles, topping up his fourth-round TKO victory over Tomasz Makowski in 2015 Poland, where he earned the belt in oriental rules.
In the co-main event Argentine Nikolas Vegas, representing South America, claimed WKN Intercontinental lightweight title by stopping his French opponent Jeremy Nkoa, representing Europe, in the fourth-round. Also on the night Argentine Martin Velasco defeated Mexican Daniel Rico, and became WKN International welterweight champion. As well, Pablo Roa took the decision against Brazilian Marcos Dal Jovev, claiming WKN International lightweight belt. In addition, Florencia Greco similarly defeated Narela Alfonso and became WKN Argentine national flyweight title holder.
Also at the event, South American star Jorge Acero Cali received a special WKN belt “Champion for Life” from World Kickboxing Network President Stephane Cabrera and former World Champion out of Belgium Osman Yigin.
On Thursday the promotion released a highlight video of the event. Argentine channel CN23 scheduled the replay of the show on Saturday October 14 at 9 PM local time.
STB 15 Moreno was promoted in terms of “Bosch Tour 7” by Hector Valiente and Christian Bosch. The championship supervisor was Fernando Munoz. The event was the fourth series produced in Argentina, following three previous episodes held in Caseros.
