Kickboxing series Simply the Best 15 Moreno highlight
Ahead of broadcast on Argentine channel CN23, World Kickboxing Network released a new clip, sharing some of the best moments of STB 15 Moreno. The event held at Believe Buenos Aires on October 1 marked the return of World Championship to South America.
Simply the Best 15 Moreno featured with the A-list Argentine fighters up against representatives of France, Brazil, Mexico and Uruguay. WKN World and subordinate championships were challenged on the night.
In the headline-bout Argentine Federico Roma earned WKN World super bantamweight Muay Thai title, claiming the decision against French Tristan Gaetano. “Little Big Man” also became the champion in two styles, topping up his fourth-round TKO victory over Tomasz Makowski in 2015 Poland, where he earned the belt in oriental rules.
Also on the night Argentine Nikolas Vegas, representing South America, earned WKN Intercontinental lightweight title by scoring the fourth-round knockout victory over French opponent Jeremy Nkoa, representing Europe. As well, Argentine Martin Velasco KO’d Mexican Daniel Rico in the second round, and became WKN International welterweight champion. Pablo Roa took the decision against Brazilian Marcos Dal Jovev, claiming WKN International lightweight belt. Florencia Greco defeated Narela Alfonso also by decision, and became WKN Argentine national flyweight title holder.
One of the highlight moments on the night featured South American star Jorge Acero Cali receiving a special WKN belt “Champion for Life” from WKN President Stephane Cabrera and former World Champion Belgian-Turkish Osman Yigin.
STB 15 Moreno was the fourth series produced in Argentina by Hector Valiente and Christian Bosch. The show followed three previous chapters held in Caseros. The championship supervisor was Fernando Munoz. The episode is scheduled on CN23 on Saturday October 14 at 9 PM local time.
