Girl Power Kickboxing
Kickboxing series Girl Power 4 Varna airs on SFR Sport 5 and B1B Pay-Per-View, tonight, Friday October 13. It is the third episode produced in Bulgaria, following the events held earlier this year in Stara Zagora and Sunny Beach.
Girl Power is a one-night eight-woman featherweight kickboxing contest. To take all, the contender has to collect three victories during one evening in the format of the Olympic system tournament: quarter-final, semi-final and final. The fast-paced bouts are scheduled at 3×2 minute rounds. Prestigious WKN championship belt at stake.
The list of competitors at the upcoming show includes the representatives of Belgium, France, Denmark, Czech, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Bosnia. In addition, the program features WKN European light heavyweight championship between Bulgarian Aleksandar Petrov and Serbian Bojan Gajic.
The list of officials includes American Hall of Fame referee Steve Smoger, WKN German Representative Klaus Hagemann and former WBC International lightweight champion French Bruno Wartelle. President of World Kickboxing Network Stephane Cabrera attends the event.
