UFC Fight Night 122: Michael Bisping vs. Kelvin Gastelum

Former middleweight champion, England’s Michael Bisping (31-8-0) has no intention to stop. Only a week after his clash with Canadian MMA legend Georges St-Pierre at Madison Square Garden in New York, he has agreed to step in and face American Kelvin Gastelum (14-3-0, 1NC) in the headline-bout at UFC Fight Night 122. The event airs live on Fight Pass, taking place at Mercedes Benz Arena on Saturday, November 25 in Shanghai, China.

“The new main event comes after original headliner Anderson Silva was removed from the card due to a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collected on October 26, 2017,” says the announcement made on Sunday.

Last year Bisping defeated Anderson Silva, Luke Rockhold and Dan Henderson. According to the official UFC website he is currently ranked N.2.

Ranked N.9 Gastelum is coming off a defeat suffered against Chris Weidman. Nevertheless he is unbeaten in three of his last four bouts, with the victories earned over Johny Hendricks and Tim Kennedy.
