The Battle 17

The Battle 17 takes place at Taekwondo Olympic Arena in Athens on Sunday December 10. The event features a mixed-fight bill with kickboxing, boxing and MMA bouts presented on the card. The roster includes the leading Greek fighters up against international opponents, with WKN title challenged on the night.

On Tuesday the promotion topped up the fight card with two pro boxing matches. Among the bouts, the representative of the country-host Nika Sekhniashvili takes on Bosnian light heavyweight Slavisa Simeunovic. As well, Petros Liberis faces Isaias Topi in all-Greek clash.

In addition, according to Greek website PrizeFighting the fight card includes the women’s contest for WBF title. The names of the competitors are yet to be known.

The Battle 17 is headlined by Greek Mixed Martial Artist Andreas Michailidis up against Slovakian middleweight Tomas Bolo. The pair battles out for WKN International title.

Also on the card Greek super welterweight Meletis Kakoumpavas meets Slovakian kickboxer Pavol Garaj. His middleweight country-fellow Dimitris Xerikos goes up against Bosnian boxer Adnan Hadzihajdic.
