Francesco Picca defeats Natale Allegra

International kickboxing returned to Italy this past Sunday December 3 with Invictus Arena 24. The event held at Palasport “A. Vespucci” in Rome featured some of the prominent representatives of the country-host, as well as the competitors coming from Romania and Morocco.

The highlight of the event featured local lightweights, Natale Allegra of Team Saladino up against Francesco Picca of Team Invictus. The pair battled out for WKN Italian lightweight title.

The bout scheduled for three rounds went the distance. Francesco Picca was proclaimed as the winner by a unanimous decision, consequently earning a prestigious belt.

Invictus Arena 24 was promoted by Riccardo Lecca. The championship supervisor was Antonio Alias of Sardinia.

Over the years World Kickboxing Network has held numerous events in Italy, as well as on its territories in the Mediterranean Sea. Giorgio Petrosyan, Patrick Carta, Lucian Danilencu, Lorenzo Piras, among others, competed for WKN titles at such events as Thai Boxe Mania, The Night of Super Fights, just to name a couple.

Finalizing 2017 Invictus Arena 24 was the first event out of five the organization promotes this month. Up next is a highly anticipated The Battle 17 by WKN held next Sunday December 10 in Athens, Greece.
