Creed II (2018) film

The highly anticipated second chapter of Creed is scheduled for its official release in the US on November 21 next year. The boxing drama directed and written by the one and only Sylvester Stallone follows the first film, with Michael B Jordan portraying Adonis Johnson, the son of Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers).

Stallone as well appears in the film, portraying legendary Rocky Balboa. Moreover, Dolph Lundgren, the rival of the American boxing pride out of the big screen, returns to action as the former Soviet athlete Ivan Drago. The latter is that fatal opponent who Apollo faced inside the ring in Rocky IV (1985) film.

Furthermore, mid November the reports indicated a new character added to the plot. The son of Drago is expected to appear in the film, and likely to take on Johnson inside of the square circle.

On the day of “Throwback Thursday” Sylvester Stallone once again reminisced one of the biggest challenges in the career of Rocky, as well as hinted what is going to happen next. The image posted on Instagram features the legendary actor as Rocky Balboa face off Dolph Lundgren as Ivan Drago in Rocky (1985) film.

“Get ready the next generation is about to get into the ring,” Stallone wrote in the caption.” By the way, in my experience, this was the most exhausting and punishing fight ever put on film, I can’t believe one of us didn’t end up in the hospital…”

“Oh, I forgot, I did… it was an amazing experience, and Dolph Lundgren is an amazing athlete,” he stated in conclusion, adding the #Rockybalboa1976 #mgm hashtags.

The 26th of November 2016 has marked the 40th anniversary of the birth of Rocky. The “best friend” of Sylvester Stallone helped him along the way, as well as brought back to drama and the 2016 Oscar nomination.
