Australian Muay Thai legend John Wayne Parr makes his third appearance in Italy tonight, Saturday December 9. “The Gunslinger” takes on the representative of the country-host Piergiulio Paolucci, battling out on the main card of Bellator Kickboxing 8 held in Florence.

The bout is scheduled for three rounds at catchweight, with the limit of 74 kg. At the official weigh-in ceremony conducted on Friday Parr showed 73.8 kg. His opponent was 73.3 kg.

In April this year Parr fought in Turin, where he knocked out local Nando Calzetta with a spectacular kick to the head. Back in 2004 he fought in Padova, scoring a unanimous decision against Austrian Fadi Merza.

Bellator Kickboxing 8 is headlined by Raymond Daniels up against Giannis Boukis. Also on the card Joe Schilling meets Filipino Verlinden at middleweight. The full lineup and weigh-n results can be found below.
