International Kickboxing

World-class kickboxing returned to French city Saint-Fons this past Saturday December 16. Promoted by famed trainer Nasser Kacem (coach of Yohan Lidon) at Palais des Sports Nuit des Challenges 17 featured the international fight bill with three WKN match ups presented on the card.

The event marked the return of French Abdallah Mabel who went up against Bulgarian middleweight Hristo Hristov. The scheduled for three round bout went the distance, with the representative of the country-host proclaimed as the winner by a unanimous decision.

In the co-main event Turkish-French Yuksel Ayaydin took on Serbian heavyweight Mihajlo Kecojevic. The bout also went the distance, with the local fighter similarly taking the win.

In addition, the son of the promoter, lightweight Antar Kacem faced a newly crowned WKN Intercontinental champion out of Argentina Nicolas Vega. The judges decision went in favor of the local fighter.

The fight card also included a series of local and international contests.
