Famed Muay Thai promotion “Thai Fight” finalizes the year with an international gala held in Chiang Mai this coming Saturday December 23. The event takes place at CentralPlaza Chiangmai Airport, following a set of promotions in Europe, events back in Thailand, as well as the recent gala in Cambodia.

Late last week FIGHTMAG revealed a nearly full fight card of the upcoming show, featuring the representatives of the country-host up against the competitions out of Russia, Uzbekistan, Italy, France, Algeria, Ukraine, Brazil, Iran, Germany and Canada. The program is expected to present the semi-final bouts of three single-elimination tournaments at 67 kg, 70 kg and 72.5 kg weight classes. In addition, a series of super fights tops up the card.

The tenth and arguably the most anticipated bout has been revealed on Thursday. According to World Muaythai Council (WMC) famed Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym takes on Canadian Abdou Haddad. The super lightweight battle is one of the semi-final bouts of the 67 kg knockout contest.

Over the course of his career Saenchai won the prestigious Lumpinee championship in four different weight classes. The resume of his next, very little known opponent, includes the battles against Patrick Ward, Leo Lescot, among others (according to YouTube).

Among other bouts Thai star Saiyok faces Italian super welterweight Martin Meoni. Sudsakorn goes up against Ukrainian Vasyl Sorokin also at super welterweight. Super lightweight PTT Petchrungrueng takes on Brazilian Victor Nunes. The expected fight card can be found below.
