UFC 219 Cyborg vs Holm finalizes the year

The final event of the year, UFC 219 takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this Sunday December 31 (Dec 30 in the US). The Pay-Per-View event features eleven bouts with the women’s featherweight championship on the top of the bill.

The main card on PPV comprises five bouts. In the headliner of the show the defending featherweight champion Cris Cyborg takes on Holly Holm (Ranked No.2).

The second bout from the top is a lightweight battle between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Edson Barboza. Also on the card welterweight Carlos Condit faces Neil Magny, and Cynthia Calvillo meets Carlo Esparza at strawweight.

On Monday the fight card suffered a pull out when John Lineker was forced to withdraw from the bantamweight bout against Jimie Rivera due to tooth infection, and required to undergo an emergency surgery. The name of a new opponent for Rivera is yet determined.

The preliminary card includes four bouts and is available on FS 4, Edge and UFC Fight Pass. Among the bouts Khalil Rountree goes up against Michal Oleksiejczuk at light heavyweight. Dan Hooker battles out against Marc Diakiese at lightweight.
