Famed Muay Thai promotion “Thai Fight” wishes Happy New Year to the fans, boxers and all devotees of the Art of Eight Limbs. Welcoming 2018, a new image was posted on Instagram┬álast night, featuring the A-list competitors, including Saenchai PKSaenchaimuaythaigym, Sudsakorn Sor. Klinmee, Saensatharn, Sayiok, Ekkaphan Somboonsab, among others.

Seven events have been promoted in 2017. The Kings of Muay Thai battled out in three European countries, such as France, Italy and Spain. Several events have been held in Thailand, in the cities Surat Thani (Samui), Yala and Chiang Mai. In addition, Thai Fight visited the capital of Cambodia Phnom Penh.

A new season starts as early as on January 27. Thai Fight presents its first event of the year at Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. Bangkok, the Kingdom’s Capital, is the city which has hosted the very Thai Fight promotion “Final 16” in August 2010.

The fight card of the upcoming show includes the final bouts of three single elimination tournaments at 67 kg, 70 kg and 72 kg weight classes, as well as a series of super fights. The event airs on Channel 3 and 33 from 6.20-8.00 pm and on Channel 28 from 8.00-9.45 pm, and online on Line TV.

Parviz Iskenderov
Parviz Iskenderov is a Muay Thai fighter from Perth, Australia. He is a former National champion of Belarus, and also a finalist of IFMA European Cup. He is an editor and journalist at FIGHTMAG. Iskenderov is also the World Kickboxing Network (WKN) international coordinator for Australia.
