The World Martial Arts Games 2018 is held in Geneva, Switzerland from 7th to 8th April. The event features a number of disciplines including Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts, Police tactical self-defense, Kyokushin Karate, Grappling GI & NO GI, Nunchaku, musical forms and more.

The WMAG is organized by the former Kickboxing World Champion, Swiss Carl Emery. In November 2010 he has created World Kickboxing Forum, bringing all sanctioning bodies to the Round Table.

The following year Emery held the dinner with the original World Champions Joe Lewis (heavyweight), Jeff Smith (light heavyweight), Bill “Superfoot” Wallace (middleweight), and Isiasis Duenas (lightweight). It was the first time when “Fantastic Four” met, after winning their PKA (Professional Karate/Kickboxing Association) titles at Los Angeles Sports Arena in 1974.

The debut of World Martial Arts Games was held in 2013 under the slogan of “Sports for all”. The most recent event was in 2015.

In addition, together with Billy Murray of Northern Ireland, Emery is a co-founder of The Peace Fighters. In 2014 the initiative was presented at the 25th UN Human Rights Council session in Geneva.

World Martial Arts Games 2018 is supported by World Kickboxing Network (WKN). More information and the participants registration is available online at MartialSports.ch.
