Nuit des Gladiateurs results

International kickboxing returned to France on Saturday January 13 with Nuit des Gladiateurs held at Salle Vallier in Marseille. The event promoted by Jean Armand Da Lomba featured the eight-fight bill with local and international competitors.

In the main event French lightweight Eddy Nait Slimani went up against Charlie Peters of England. The scheduled for three rounds WKN International match up went the distance. The representative of the country-host was awarded the victory by a unanimous judges’ decision.

As a result, Nait Slimani continues his win streak, following his previous bout against Korean Dong Su Kim last October. Battling out in French city Mazan he earned World Kickboxing Network super lightweight title by a knockout in the first round.

In the co-main event at Nuit des Gladiateurs 2018 super lightweight Cedric Castagna scored a unanimous decision against his French-fellow Samir Mohamed. Also on the card Amel Dehby similarly defeated Lizzie Largiliere at women’s bantamweight, and Philippe Salmon took a unanimous decision against Hakim Ketaieb at super lightweight. In addition, Jocelyn Branchu outpointed Anthony Recio also at super lightweight. The full results can be found below.
