Sylvester Stallone compares life with a boxing bout

Sylvester Stallone: Life is one long, long boxing match

Hands down, the boxing legend from the big screen Sylvester Stallone is a devotee of The Sweet Science during his entire film career, moreover, arguably his all life. Well, that’s certainly thanks to his best friend Rocky Balboa.

In June last year Stallone shared some of the “Rocky tips” how to be successful in life. This week, the man who in 2006 had said that it’s all about “how much you can take and keep moving forward”, made an additional statement, a reminder.

“Just when you think you have life under control, it punches you square in the mouth, and you got another challenge to face,” Stallone captioned the image posted on Instagram on Tuesday. “Go for it. Life is one long, long boxing match,” he wrote in conclusion.

The photo shows Stallone a few years back, with a newspaper in his hands. “Apollo Creed vs. Stallion Chicken” says the headline.

In November this year Rocky Balboa again appears on the Silver Screen. Creed 2 is coming on Thanksgiving, starring such giants as Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren, as well as Michael B. Jordan who portrays Andonis Johnson, son of Apollo Creed.
