GLORY 51 takes place at Rotterdam Ahoy on Saturday March 3. The event marks the return of “The Golden Boy” Badr Hari who faces his old foe Hesdy Gerges in a highly anticipated rematch, which headlines the show. On Tuesday World Kickboxing Network announced that “Slovakian Giant” Tomas Mozny has been added to the card, battling out in the co-headline bout of the upcoming show.
Representing WKN Top Team Tomas Mozny (17-5-1, 6 KOs) makes his third appearance at GLORY World Series, where he currently holds the 1-1 record. In his first bout back in 2016 he scored a unanimous decision against Turkish Cihad Kepenek in Copenhagen. In the second outing last January in Los Angeles he was outpointed by Brazilian Jhonata Diniz. In addition, “The Giant Slovak” has been announced as one of the main-event fighters at Simply the Best 18 Poprad scheduled for March 16.
Daniel Skvor (14-6-2, 12 KOs) makes his GLORY debut. The Czech Fighter is known for his battles at two editions of Simply the Best Kickboxing produced in Prague. In May 2015 he scored the first round knockout victory against Sebastian Piotr of Poland at STB 4, as well as took a unanimous decision against his country-fellow Jiri Stariat last April at STB 14.
