Yodsanklai Fairtex vs. Enriko Kehl
Famed Muay Thai fighter Yodsanklai Fairtex is back in the ring, facing K-1 World Max 2014 champion Enriko Kehl of Germany. The bout was initially announced to feature on the card at kickboxing event Kunlun Fight 69 held in Guiyang, China on Sunday February 4.
On Tuesday FIGHTMAG learned that the bout has been rescheduled for another date and event. The pair battles out a day early, on Saturday February 3, at Chinese kickboxing promotion Wu Lin Feng (WLF).
In addition Enriko Kehl shared the event poster on his Instagram. “Here we go, same fight, other organization,” he wrote in the caption.
Yodsanklai Fairtex is the former Lumpinee Stadium champion in two different weight division and the winner of The Contender Asia (2008). He is also the former World Muaythai Council middleweight champion and WBC World super welterweight champion. His resume includes the victories against John Wayne Parr, Yohan Lidon, Cosmo Alexandre, Dzhabar Askerov, among others. Last year he added four victories to his resume.
Enriko Kehl is known for his 2014 bout against renowned Thai Buakaw Banchamek. Over the course of his career he took ISKA World middleweight title in 2013, as well as the IFMA Muay Thai European Cup in 2012. He defeated the likes of Nonsai Sor. Sanyakorn, Shane Campbell and Erkan Varol. Last December Kehl scored the decision against Arbi Emiev.
