UFC 220 fight motion

UFC 220 was held this past Sunday (January 21) at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The event featured the eleven-fight card with two title belts contested on the top of bill.

In the main event UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Moicic made a third consecutive title defense when he scored a unanimous decision against Francis Ngannou. In the co-main event Daniel Cormier successfully defended his light heavyweight belt, when he stopped Volkan Oezdemir in the second round with punches.

Among other bouts presented on the main card live on Pay-Per-View, featherweight Calvin Kattar defeated Shane Burgos by TKO in the third round also with punches. Light heavyweight Gian Villante took a split decision (30-27, 28-29, 30-27) against Francimar Barroso. In addition, Rob Font scored the second-round TKO against Thomas Almeida with head kick and punches.

The next stop is UFC 221: Romero vs. Rockhold. The event held at Perth Arena on Sunday February 11, marks the debut of Ultimate Fighting Championship in Western Australia. In addition to the interim middleweight championship between Yoel Romero and Luke Rockhold, the fight card includes the A-list Australian fighters, such as Mark Hunt, Jake Matthews, Tai Tuivasa, Tyson Pedro, among others.
