Ronda Rousey makes WWE debut, expected at Wrestlemania 34

Ronda Rowsey: This is my life now

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey (12-2-0) made her debut for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) this past Sunday (Monday in Australia) in Philadelphia. “Rowdy” made a surprise appearance shortly after the first-ever women’s-only Royal Rumble match concluded.

Rousey stood in the WWE ring and pointed to Wrestlemania sign hanging in the arena. She also stared down Women’s Royal Rumble match winner Asuka, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss.

After emerging and shocking the crowd she talked to ESPN stating that WWE is the number one priority on her current timetable.

“This is my life now. First priority on my timeline for the next several years. This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt.”

“When I first met with Triple H, I told him, ‘There are other things I can do with my time that’ll make way more money. But I won’t enjoy nearly as much.'”

In addition to her outstanding MMA career, Ronda Rousey appeared on Silver Screen, being a part of The Expendables 3, Furious 7 and Entourage. She stared alongside numerous celebrities such as Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez.

It’s funny, it’s kind of like acting, in that it was something I always wanted to do but I never thought was in the cards for me,” Rousey said. “And now that I realize I really do have this opportunity, I feel like my 6-year-old self would totally kick my ass if I didn’t take it.
