The King of Muay Thai Yodsanklai Fairtex faces German star Enriko Kehl on Saturday February 3. The pair battles out in the main event of the Chinese kickboxing promotion Wu Lin Feng (WLF) held in the city Shenzhen. The bout was initially announced at Kunlun Fight 69 held in Guiyang on Sunday, but was rescheduled for an earlier date.
The official weigh-in ceremony was conducted on Friday. Both fighters made weight and “ready for this war tomorrow,” Kehl captioned a set of photos posted on Instagram.
Yodsanklai Fairtex (197-71-4) is the former Lumpinee Stadium champion in two different weight division, regarded as one of the best Muay Thai fighters of all time. He is also the winner of The Contender Asia (2008) and multiple World Champion. Enriko Kehl (42-13-1) is K-1 World Max 2014 champion, World Champion and IFMA European cup winner.
Among others bouts featured on WLF card French star Yohan Lidon takes on Dutch Regian Eersel. As well, Thai Singdam Kiatmuu9 goes up against the representative of the country-host Xie Lei.
