Jeff Horn vs. Terence Crawford

Australian World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Jeff Horn and American Terence Crawford go through the ropes on April 15 (April 14 in the US). The bout was initially targeted to be held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas but was moved to the historic fight venue Madison Square Garden in New York.

According to reports the contest promoted by Top Rank has been recently shifted back to Vegas. It is expected to take place at 12.000-seat Mandalay Bay’s Events Centre.

In addition, the event is likely to feature the return of Manny Pacquiao. The most recent bout of “Pacman” was last July in Brisbane, Australia where he faced a unanimous decision defeat against Horn.

Pacquio’s next opponent is American Mike Alvarado (38-4, 26 KOs). He is the former WBO light welterweight champion. He has also twice challenged for WBO International welterweight belt.

According to The Courier Mail the winner of Pacquiao vs. Alvarado is expected to fight the winner of Horn vs. Crawford in their next outing later this year.
