Sylvester Stallone: Keep Punching
Hollywood boxing icon Sylvester Stallone is fit and healthy. Despite the death hoax earlier this month, the 71-year-old actor keeps punching. Literally.
If you’ve ever wondered about Rocky Balboa’s workout routine, one thing you can be sure: he does what he does best. Punches. Here is the proof, which Sylvester Stallone posted on Instagram early morning on Wednesday (AWST).
The video shows him facing off against the wall. The light illuminates and Stallone throws a punch aspiring to tag it while it’s still on.
“Still the most exhilarating exercise there is… Keep punching!” Stallone wrote in the caption. You can watch the footage below.
The Smartfit logo which can be seen on the machine led to some quick online research. The equipment under the slogan of ‘Seize the Now’ is a program which “provides the missing link by focusing on training the brain to function efficiently while concurrently placing a cardio, strength, motor, and skill demand on the body”.
So there you go. Although Rocky is past his glory days as a prominent boxer and unlikely to step inside the square circle again, he is certainly getting ready to face his old foe Ivan Drago in Creed 2. The film starring Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren and Florian Munteanu is expected on the Big Screen this November.
