Madjene vs. Kehan

Kunlun Fight 70 is held tonight (Sunday March 11) in Chinese city Sanya. The event airs live on FITE Pay-Per-View featuring a series of international match ups with a highly anticipated women’s kickboxing bout between French Laetitia Madjene and the representative of the country-host Wang Kehan.

The bout was originally expected in the finale of women’s kickboxing tournament last year, but fell off after French fighter was forced to withdraw due to sustained injury. It was rebooked for February this year, but was also cancelled after Chinese athlete had to pull out also due to injury. The third booking was announced late last month for this event, Kunlun Fight 70.

At the official weigh-in ceremony conducted the day before the fight show Madjene weighed-in at 62,950 kg. According to her Facebook, Kehan was 63,700 kg “after the second attempt”.

The Madjene vs. Kehan bout is scheduled for three rounds.
