Kunlun Fight 70 results: Wang Kehan defeats Laetitia Madjene

Kickboxing event Kunlun Fight 70 aired live on FITE Pay-Per-View on Sunday March 11 from Sanya, China. The show featured a series of international bouts with a highly anticipated women’s contest between French Laetitia Madjene and Chinese Wang Kehan presented on the card.

The pair was originally expected to square off in the final round of women’s kickboxing tournament last year, but the bout fell off when French fighter was forced to withdraw due to injury. It was rebooked for the previous edition of Kunlun Fight held in February, but that time Chinese competitor had to pull out also due to injury.

The contest finally went ahead last night at KF 70. After three rounds of action the representative of the country-host Kehan was proclaimed as the winner, after she earned a unanimous judges decision against Madjene.

Post-fight the latter made a post on Facebook saying thank you to her supporters and managers Michel Garcia and Stephane Cabrera. She has also stated her aspiration to be back in the ring in the nearest future.
