Dylan Colin becomes World Kickboxing Network super middleweight champion

Simply the Best Kickboxing returned to Slovakia with Episode 18 held last night (March 16) at Arena Poprad. The event promoted by Lukas Bodyy featured ten bouts with three WKN titles contested on the night.

In the main event French Dylan Colin caused an upset for local crowd when he defeated Slovakian star Vladimir Idranyi. The pair met in the scheduled for five rounds championship bout with World Kickboxing Network Super Middleweight title at stake. The bout went the distance. Colin was proclaimed as a new champion in the division, earning the belt by judges decision.

In the co-main event Slovakian heavyweight Ivan Bartek went up against Czech kickboxing legend Petr Vondracek. After three rounds of action the representative of the country-host was proclaimed as the winner by decision.

Also on the card Slovakian Samuel Hadzima took the revenge against Belgian Tarik Mahillon, as well as claimed WKN International Lightweight belt, also by decision. Erik Matejovsky became a new WKN Slovakian Light Heavyweight champion, scoring the decision against Jozef Kolodzej.
