Roy Wills vs. Jordan Godtfredsen – Lightweight Contender Bout
Domination 20 takes place at Serpentine Jarrahdale Community Recreation Centre (YMCA) in Byford (Perth), WA on Saturday June 2. The event is set to showcase some of the leading Australian Muay Thai fighters, international competitors, as well as two WKN titles contested on the night.
The official event poster landed on Wednesday. It features the main event fighters Australian Toby Smith and Sam Gough of England, who headline the show contesting for WKN World Middleweight title.
In addition, the co-main event bout has been revealed. Two top Australian lightweights Roy Wills (41-14, 12 KO) and Jordan Godtfredsen (24-7-0, 6 KO) square off in a rematch, following their original encounter in 2011, when Wills took the win by TKO, as well as captured WA State Super Featherweight title.
Over the last seven years both moved up a weight class, prominently competing throughout the country. The resume of Wills includes the victories against, Chadd Collins, Alex Petroulias, among others. Godtfredsen defeated the likes of Ramesh Habib, Moulay Bekkali, Apisit Ktgym.
The winner of the upcoming Wills vs. Godtfredsen bout earns the spot to challenge for WKN World Lightweight title at the next Domination event scheduled for October 27.
Domination 20 fight card also includes Alex James who is back in the ring taking on the five-fight undefeated Al Husqvarna. Other bouts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The current lineup can be found below.
