Pazitny takes WKN European SFW amateur belt

The world class promotion “Glorious Fight” was held in Belgian city Soumagne this past Saturday (April 14). The event featured a stacked card with some of the best local fighters, international competitors and two WKN championship bouts on the top of the bill.

Belgian Abdel Yalmani and Hungarian Andras Szabo went head to head within the five rounds of Muay Thai. The pair battled out for WKN World featherweight title. The judges decision went in favor of the representative of the country-host, who was proclaimed as a new champion in the division.

Also on the night Belgian Jonathan Vagnarelli and Slovakian Cyril Pazitny contested for WKN European super featherweight amateur belt. The bout ended in the third round, with the guest out of Slovakia earning the victory by way of TKO (referee stoppage).

The championship supervisor was Osman Yigin.

In addition, the event marked the return of Belgian heavyweight Frederic Sinistra who went up against his country-fellow Yassine Bouanan. The latter took the win by decision.

Glorious Fight in Soumagne followed the third edition of Invictus Show in Beyne-Heusay, as well as Simply the Best 17 Farciennes. The main card results can be found below.
