Buakaw Banchamek vs. Victor Nagbe 2

Buakaw Banchamek and Victor Nagbe square off for the second time on May 21 in Hong Kong. The bout has been revealed via Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC Ballarat) this past weekend.

The upcoming contest is the second encounter between Buakaw and Nagde. The pair has met for the first time in 2014, when the famed Thai earned a three-round unanimous decision, battling out in his home town Surin.

Buakaw Banchamek is coming off a decision defeat against Spanish Jonay Risco last month in Abu Dhabi. Before that he had ridden a seven-fight win streak with the victories earned against Nayanesh Ayman, Sergey Kulyaba, Andrei Kulebin, among others.

Born in Liberia Victor Nagbe resides in Australia. Alongside Buakaw, his resume includes the battles against several other renowned Thai fighters, such as Yodsanklai Fairtex and Saenchai PK Saenchaimuaythaigym.

To date it is unclear which promotion accommodates the expected bout. We will have more information as soon as it becomes available.
