Real Hero: 8-man knockout contest

The next edition of Muay Thai tournament “Real Hero” airs live on Amarin TV HD (Thai Channel 34) this coming Sunday May 6. The event is set in the lightweight class (63 kg).

Real Hero is a weekly series of knockout contests promoted by Top Sangmorakot in Bangkok, Thailand. Each show features eight international competitors battling it out in a single-elimination tournament. To take all, the contender has to collect three wins during one evening, going through quarter-final, semi-final and final.

The fast-paced bouts are scheduled for one round with the duration of as many as five minutes. 100,000 Thai baht is on the line (approx $4,200 AUD). Every Episode is a tournament in a new weight class.

On Thursday FIGHTMAG learned the names of fighters partaking in the upcoming show. The list includes the representatives of Thailand, Russia, Ghana, Brazil, Ukraine, Mongolia and Cambodia.

The official weigh-in ceremony is scheduled for Saturday. The tournament draw is conducted on the fight day. The lineup can be found below.
