Igor Liubchenko KO’s Real Hero LW Muay Thai tournament

Real Hero is a one-night Muay Thai contest produced in Bangkok every Sunday live on Amarin HD (Channel 34). Promoted by Top Sangmorakot, each episode features eight international competitors, battling out in a single-elimination tournament, with 100,000 Thai baht at stake (approx $4,200 AUD). The bouts are scheduled for one round with the duration of as many as five minutes.


Every Episode is a contest in a new weight class. The most recent edition, held last night (May 6), crowned a champion in the lightweight division (63 kg).

Ukrainian Muay Thai star, multiple IFMA World Champion, Igor Liubchenko scored three victories, consequently taking all tournament. Moreover, all of the wins he has taken prior the final bell.

In the opening round Liubchenko eliminated Thai Liymphech Couragefightteam. In the semi-final he defeated Batjargal Sundui of Mongolia.

The championship round featured Liubchenko up against another representative of the country host, Jarwdjew Singnakonkui. On the way to the final the latter defeated Russian Alahverdi Ramazanov and Brazilian Felipe Gois by decision.

The Liubchenko vs. Singnakonkui ended in favor of Ukrainian fighter who claimed the win by way of knockout. The complete results can be found below.

The next Real Hero event is scheduled for May 13. The tournament is set in the Super Featherweight class (62 kg). The lineup is expected to be announced in the coming days.
