Yodsanklai Fairtex and Chris Ngimbi squared off inside the MMA cage this past Friday May 18 in Singapore. The pair met in the “ONE Super Series” kickboxing bout, battling out in small gloves.
A very competitive three round contest went the distance. The judges decision went in favor of the famed Muay Thai fighter, Yodsanklai, who was unanimously proclaimed as the winner.
Known as “The Boxing Computer” Yodsanklai Fairtex is one of the most eminent representatives of the “Art of Light Limbs”, alongside the four-division Lumpinee Stadium champion Saenchai and two-time K-1 World Max champion Buakaw Banchamek.
Yodsanklai is a multiple World Champion, as well as the winner of The Contender Asia (2008). His next bout in the ONE series is expected to be announced in the near future.
In addition, earlier this month Yodsanklai has been added to the roster of the “All Star Fight” Muay Thai promotion. He is expected to make his debut later this year.
