GLORY 54 results: Harut Grigorian defeats Alim Nabiyev, retains WW title
GLORY 54 was held this past Saturday (June 2) at Genting Arena in Birmingham, England. The event featured an international kickboxing card two titles contested on the top of the fight-bill.
In the main event Rico Verhoeven made the seventh consecutive defense of his heavyweight title scoring a unanimous decision against Mladen Brestovac. In addition, he also took the second win against the latter, following their first encounter two years ago in Paris.
In the co-main event Harut Grigorian made a successful defense of his welterweight strap, earning a unanimous decision against Alim Nabiyev. Also on the card, Chenglong Zhang took a unanimous decision against Adrian Maxim.
The featherweight bout between Bailey Sugden and Aleksei Ulianov has been declared as “no contest” due to an accidental headbutt in the second round. The complete GLORY 54 results can be found below.
