GLORY Kickboxing tops up event calendar

GLORY Kickboxing: 5 events scheduled

Following a pair of world title bouts GLORY Kickboxing has held this past weekend in England, the promotion added four events to its calendar. In addition, to the previously announced installment No. 55 scheduled for July 21 in New York, two more promotions in the US top up the programme, as well as the events in Holland and China.

The fight show No. 56 takes place at the 1stBank Center in Denver on August 11 (August 10 in the US). The headline bout features the light heavyweight champion Artem Vakhitov up against yet to be named opponent.

Two weeks later GLORY Kickboxing comes to Chinese city Shenzhen with the 57th event scheduled for August 25. Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong has been announced in the headliner of the show with the lightweight title on the line.

The promotion returns to the United States on September 16 (September 15 in the US). Heavyweights Benjamin Adegbuyi and Jamal Ben Saddik are expected to battle out in the co-main event of GLORY 58 Chicago.

Fresh off the win against Mladen Brestovac in Birmingham, the reigning heavyweight champion Rico Verhoeven is expected to go through the ropes on September 29. The “King of Kickboxing” headlines GLORY 59 Amsterdam facing off an opponent who is yet to be announced.

Up next is GLORY 55 New York. The event features Robin van Roosmalen who defends his featherweight title against Petchpanomrung Kiatmookao, and the defending middleweight champion Alex Pereira face off Yousri Belgaroui.
