Tomasz Sarara becomes World Kickboxing Network Super Heavyweight champion
Polish heavyweight Tomasz Sarara went up against “Slovakian Giant” Tomas Mozny on May 25 at National Stadium Warsaw live on TVP Sport. With over 25,000 sold tickets for the event, the pair was featured on the card of arguably the biggest boxing show in history of Poland.
Sarara and Mozny battled out for WKN World Super Heavyweight title. The scheduled for five rounds championship bout ended prior the final bell.
In the fourth round “The Giant Slovak” received a deep cut extending from his right eye brow up through his forehead. The doctor made a decision to stop the contest, which consequently proclaimed Polish star as a winner by TKO.
On Sunday World Kickboxing Network shared a clip on its page on Facebook dedicated to Tomasz Sarara winning WKN gold. The video produced by Cinema Curuc features some of the highlight moments of the bout, as well as the behind the scenes footage.
