Girl Power 6 Sunny Beach

Kickboxing series Girl Power returns on the small screen on Friday June 29. The event takes place at the Platinum Casino & Hotel in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria featuring eight international competitors battling out in a knockout tournament with WKN belt at stake.

The event was initially announced in Golden Sands. According to the recent post made by World Kickboxing Network on Twitter, it was moved to Sunny Beach, which will be the second episode produced in the city, following the third series held last year.

The previously announced lineup has been also slightly changed. The representative of the country-host Iliana Gelebova replaces her Bulgarian-fellow Joana Nwamerue, making her fourth Girl Power appearance, in which she has collected the 3-3 record.

In addition, making Girl Power debut Bosnian Sejla Omicevic replaces her country-woman Sanja Ostojic. The updated lineup can be found below.

Girl Power Kickboxing is a single-elimination tournament. To take all, the contender has to earn three wins during one evening in the format of the Olympic system: quarter-final, semi-final and final.

Boxing Hall of Fame referee Steve Smoger is expected to officiate the bouts. The show airs on French network SFR Sport 5 and Bulgarian cable TV channel B1B.
