Nemesis Fight Show 11: Toby Smith vs. Johane Beausejour
Australian Toby Smith and French Johane Beausejour met inside the square circle two years ago in Perth, WA. The pair headlined Nemesis Fight Show 11, which has arguably produced the best card of the year in Australia. Four WKN titles were contested on the top of the bill.
The Smith vs. Beausejour bout was a non-title contest scheduled for five rounds. A spectacular encounter went the distance. The representative of the country-host came out victorious, earning a unanimous decision.
Earlier this month Smith took WKN World Middleweight title at Domination Muay Thai 20, scoring the third-round knockout win against Sam Gough of England. He is also expected to make his European debut in Ireland this year.
Beausejour has competed internationally, appearing at such promotions as Thai Fight and Capital Fights, just to name a couple. He is scheduled for the WKN World Super Middleweight title fight against Damien Cazambo of Reunion Island, held on September 8 in Madagascar.
Nemesis Fight Show 11 was promoted by Patrick Talbot and Bill Seth. UFC Welterweight Jake Matthews was ringside commenting the PPV event. The WKN championship supervisor was Nathan “Carnage” Corbett. The complete results can be found here.
