Acero Cali vs. El Toro Visotzky 2: Kickboxing rematch headlines ‘Simply the Best’ show in November
Argentina, South American capital of kickboxing, is a country-host of as many as six Simply the Best Episodes scheduled for production in the second half of 2018 in terms of “Estrellas de Acero” (Steel Stars in Eng.) programme, WKN announced on Saturday via Twitter. The series are broadcasted on FOX Sports Latin America and online network CN 23. In addition, Bulgarian cable TV channel B1B has been added to the list.
The date of a previously announced Episode 21 in Buenos Aires has been set. The event is held on July 22, with the fight card yet to be released.
Two kickboxing series are scheduled for September 9 and September 22. In addition, the show on October 13 features an MMA programme.
Concluding the year, two Episodes are held in November and December. The dates and series number are yet to be determined, as advised, “regarding the world scheduled” of Simply the Best. Additional series are planned in Europe, including famed Belgian promotion “Nuit des Titans” promoted by Osman Yigin.
The most recent event, Episode 20, was held earlier this month in Cordoba, marking the return of famed Jorge “Acero” Cali who tested himself in MMA for the second time. Going through the ropes for the first time in five years he took on the Mixed Martial Arts veteran Diego “El Toro” Visotzky, who took the win by submission in the first round.
The “Acero” Cali vs. “El Toro” Visotzky rematch headlines the show in November. The second bout between two Argentina stars is scheduled in kickboxing.
More information is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
