IFMA European Championships: 10 days remain
Czech Republic becomes the capital of Muay Thai in Europe from June 29 to July 8, accommodating IFMA European Championship at the TipSport Arena in Prague. The event follows World Championships in Cancun held in May, and precedes FISU Worlds in Pattaya scheduled for late next month.
IFMA European Championships is an Olympic system tournament, which features male and female Muay Thai fighters battling out for medals. The athletes contest in their respective age and weight classes.
The Junior division features the 16 and 17 year-old youth competing in class A. The Senior Female division also features the A-list athletes, while the Senior category for Male fighters comprises classes A and B.
Some of the leading countries of European Muay Thai, including Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and France are expected to partake in the event. More information can be found on IFMA.rsportz.com. The video of the bouts is expected to be available on the organization’s official channel on YouTube.
