Girl Power Kickboxing
The sixth edition of Girl Power Kickboxing is held tonight (June 29) in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria. The event launches the second season of women’s kickboxing series, which features eight international competitors battling out in a knockout contest.
To take all, the contender has to collect three victories during one evening in the format of the Olympic system tournament: quarter-final, semi-final and final. Prestigious WKN championship belt is for grabs.
The official weigh-in ceremony and tournament draw was conducted on Thursday. In the first quarter-final Adva Ohayon of Israel faces Ana Maria Pal of Romania. In the second, Sejla Omicevic of Bosnia squares off against Jessica Puglisi of Italy.
The third quarter-final features Clara Ascensio of France up against Monika Babic of Croatia. In conclusion, Iliana Gelebova of Bulgaria battles out against Chavella Lee of Suriname.
The Boxing Hall of Fame referee Steve Smoger officiates the bouts. The lineup and weigh-in results can be found below.
