Yodsanklai Fairtex was back in action this past Saturday (July 29) in Chengdu. One of the most famous Muay Thai fighters faced the local competitor Yuan Bing, who is dubbed “the strongest man in China”.
The pair squared off in one of the feature bouts at the EM Legend 32 promotion. The scheduled for three rounds welterweight (70 kg) kickboxing contest went the distance. However the judges couldn’t come to a decision proclaiming the winner.
As a result, an extra round was applied. In the end the champion of The Contender Asia (2008), Yodsanklai took the win. In addition he updated his record to 29 consecutive victories since 2012.
In one of his next outings Yodsanklai Fairtex is expected to make his debut at the All Star Fight promotion, powered by famed Buakaw Banchamek. In addition, he is scheduled to make his second appearance at ONE Championship on October 6 in Bangkok facing off an opponent who is yet to be announced. More information is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
