The Annual General Meeting of IFMA members was held this week in Bangkok, in attendance of the representatives of 82 national federations. A number of aspects have been discussed including the anti-doping programme, administration developments and the upcoming events.

Spanish city Marbella is a host of the next year’s European Championships. This year the event was held in the capital of Czech Republic, Prague.

As well, Turkey has been formally announced as the country-host of the 2019 Youth World Championships. The event takes place in Antalya. It follows three previous editions held in Bangkok, where the dust has barely settled after this week’s action among young Muay Thai competitors.

In addition, “the qualification system for The World Games 2021 was finalized,” International Federation of Muaythai Amateur reported. The dates of the events and more information is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
