Elbow Master at Cyborg Nation
Here you go ladies and gentlemen, women’s MMA is about to get even more exciting. The reigning UFC featherweight champion Cris “Cyborg” Justino (20-1, 1 NC) welcomes the “The Carnage” Nathan Corbett to the camp.
The famed Brazilian-American mixed martial artist, who has also held the Invicta FC Featherweight title, shared an image on Instagram, where she is seen shoulder to shoulder with the Australian representative of the “Art of Eight Limbs”.
“I want to introduce you my new member of my camp Nathan ‘Carnage’ Corbett,” Cris Cyborg captioned the photo. Later on the day she published a video, which is described as “Great training”.
Cris Cyborg is coming off the first-round TKO win against Yana Kunitskaya earned at UFC 222 in March. The event marked her second successful title defense, following a unanimous decision win against Holly Holm, after she claimed a vacant belt by TKO in the third round against Tonya Evinger in July 2017. In her next outing she is expected to face Amanda Nunes.
Nathan Corbett earned his name “Carnage” as well as eleven world titles in Muay Thai thanks to the devastating elbow blows. In 2014 he retired from fighting and launched Carnage Striking System. Earlier this year he moved to the US, where he develops his career in combat sports as a trainer.
