Have you ever heard someone saying “I am too old for this”? Of course you have. Sometimes I even catch myself on this disastrous thought, especially when it comes to round three on Muay Thai pads. But here comes the one and only Sylvester Stallone, alongside his “best friends” Rocky and Rambo.
Earlier this year the famed actor finished working on the second Creed movie, which is expected in Australia this November. The dust has barely settled, yet Stallone confirmed the fifth chapter of Rambo is in the works, and he is getting ready for it.
Last month Mirror quoted Stallone saying that “If you expect me to be jumping out of a tree with a head band and fighting a snake you are sadly mistaken.” This is due to a number of decades of intense workout and stunts.
You can fake a punch, but you can’t fake gravity, remember?
Sylvester Stallone, 72 “…doesn’t mean you have to feel that age”
Nevertheless, a new video emerged on Stallone’s Instagram profile on Saturday. The clip shows the Hollywood boxing icon doing “as much or as little” as the tire flipping exercises.
“Getting ready for Rambo. Also, just because you’ve REACHED a certain age, doesn’t mean you have to FEEL that age! Keep pumping, keep punching!” Sylvester Stallone, who turned 72 last month, wrote in the caption.
Thus, the above should likely answer a few questions when it comes to “can or cannot do”. Cause it’s about how much you can take and keep moving forward, right?
The production of Rambo 5 starts next month. The film continues the story of veteran John Rambo. In his last adventure he reportedly goes up against a Mexican cartel.
