UFC Beijing Fight Night 141
UFC Beijing Fight Night 141 is held at the Cadillac Arena on November 24 (AEDT). The event follows the promotion’s debut on Mainland China which was produced last year in Shanghai.
The main-event bout of the upcoming show has been officially announced on Monday (via Twitter). The contest features a pair of heavyweights Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou squaring off for the second time.
Their first bout was featured on the main card of UFC Fight Night 86 in April 2016 in Zagreb, where Ngannou took the win via TKO at the conclusion of the second round.
Currently ranked No. 3 in the heavyweight class Blaydes is undefeated in his six recent outings. Two of the most recent wins were claimed against Alistair Overeem and Mark Hunt.
Ngannou is the former UFC heavyweight title challenger, who is currently ranked No. 4 in the division. He is coming off two defeats suffered against Derrick Lewis and Stipe Miocic. Before that he was riding a ten-fight win streak.
Other bouts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
