Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez battle out for the second time this coming Sunday September 16 (AWST). The championship bout headlines a four-fight PPV card produced at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The scheduled for 12 rounds contest features the defending WBC-WBA-IBO middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin (37-0-1, 33 KOs) up against the lineal middleweight world champion Canelo Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs). In addition, The Ring Magazine middleweight title is on the line.
Canelo and Golovkin first went the distance in September 2017. A controversial split draw was pronounced as the verdict of the bout.
