BJ Penn returns at UFC 232 taking on Ryan Hall

UFC 232 takes place at T-Mobile Arena on December 30 (AWST). On Thursday the promotion announced a return of UFC Hall of Famer B.J. Penn who steps inside the Octagon for the first time since June 2017, taking on Ryan Hall.

B.J. Penn is the former UFC lightweight and welterweight champion. His resume includes the wins against Diego Sanchez, Kenny Florian, Matt Serra, among others. In his most recent outing he faced a majority decision defeat against Dennis Siver.

Ryan Hall is the 2016 Ultimate Fighter winner, where he took a unanimous decision against Gray Maynard. He also makes a comeback, battling out for the first time in two years.

The Penn vs. Hall is reportedly scheduled at lightweight.

Among other bouts expected on the card the defending women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg faces the current bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes. The list of announced bouts can be found below.
