Mayweather vs. Pacquiao 2
Boxing greats Manny Pacquiao (60-7-2) and Floyd Mayweather Jr. (50-0) are expected to square off for the second time this December in Las Vegas. The pair first met in May 2015 at MGM Grand Garden Arena, where the latter scored a unanimous decision.
After that Mayweather similarly defeated Andre Berto and retired in September. He returned to action last August scoring the tenth-round stoppage win against UFC star Conor McGregor.
Pacquiao took a couple of unanimous decision wins against Timothy Bradley and Jessie Vargas, but then suffered a decision defeat against Jeff Horn. In his most recent bout in July he scored the seventh-round TKO win against Lucas Matthysse, which earned him WBA (Regular) welterweight title
Fresh off the win “Pacman” called out “Money” for the second encounter inside the square circle.
Both fighters recently shared the videos in social media from a meeting at the music event in Tokyo.
“I’m coming back to fight Manny Pacquiao this year,” captioned Mayweather. He added that “another 9 figure pay day on the way”.
