International kickboxing returns to Northern Ireland on October 14 with a Sunday-fight special held at Clayton Hotel in Belfast. The “made-in Prokick” event features local and international competitors in a series of professional and amateur bouts.
According to the updated fight card on Prokick.com, the previously announced representative of the country-host Rowena Bolt received an opponent. Going through the ropes in her home town of Belfast, she faces Chloe Quinn, who comes from Irish county Tipperary.
In her most recent outing late June, Bolt earned WKN International women’s flyweight title scoring the third-round TKO win against Maltese Diane Schembri. Before that she took WKN Irish flyweight amateur title, similarly defeating Kerry Doyle.
Quinn is a silver medalist at the last year’s ISKA Amateur World Kickboxing Championships in Greece. It was the second time when she took part in the event, earning bronze in 2014. She is also the former two-time IKF Irish Junior Light Contact champion.
The Bolt vs. Quinn bout is scheduled for four rounds in Full Contact at catchweight with the limit of 50 kg. The matchup completes the main card.
In addition, the promotion added to the card a three-round junior contest between Joshua Madden and Liam Green. The event is headlined by the local welterweight Johnny Smith up against Periklis Filippou of Cyprus. The current lineup can be found below.
